What is Massage?

It is a manual therapy that involves manipulating the body’s soft tissues such as muscles, tendons and ligaments through rubbing, pressing and kneading.

Massage can be used to treat or prevent a range of physical and psychological conditions. It is a wonderful complementary therapy and can relax the nervous system by slowing heart rate and blood pressure.

What to expect from your massage

Using long flowing massage strokes, Petrissage (kneading, squeezing), some tapping and friction, this treatment covers the areas of the back, legs, arms, upper chest, neck, shoulders and face.
 
I offer Massage as either a full body massage or as a back, neck and shoulder massage.  I use beautiful massage oils.  You can choose from a base oil or from a variety of blended, natural essential massage oils.  
 
You can also blend my massages with another treatment, for example, Reflexology or Indian Head Massage.
